About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Online Sales Intern to support our international sales operations. This role offers hands-on experience in online lead generation, sales pipeline management, and client outreach in Malaysia and across global markets.
The position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their sales skills on local and international market standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of the Online Sales Specialist to assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads through platforms such as LinkedIn, Upwork, Fiverr, Clutch, and email outreach.
- Support the Online Sales Specialist in managing and updating CRM data (Odoo CRM or similar systems).
- Conduct online research to identify new business opportunities in the Malaysian market.
- Understand ideal client process and draft outreach messages, proposals, and follow-ups to engage with clients.
- Assist in identifying potential Malaysia-based offline events, manage participation, and pitch sales during such events.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with ongoing campaigns.
- Track and report weekly progress on leads, prospects, and closed opportunities.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss performance, learnings, and next steps.
- Assist with competitor analysis and reporting on market trends.
- Support all other sales-related tasks as assigned by the Sales Lead.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Malay, Mandarin and English (ability to read and write in Mandarin is an added advantage).
- Basic understanding of online sales or lead generation.
- Familiarity with tools such as Lead generation tools or platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational, research, and analytical abilities.
- A proactive learner with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
- Students or recent graduates in Sales, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
