As we expand our footprint in Malaysia, we are looking for a motivated and self-driven Sales Representative to help us achieve our “0 to 1” breakthrough in the local market.
Role Overview
We are seeking a results-oriented Sales Representative based in Kuala Lumpur to drive our business development efforts. Your primary mission is to establish Boyang’s presence in Malaysia by converting leads into clients and building a sustainable sales pipeline for our Odoo ERP solutions.
This role offers high flexibility (remote work, freelance options) and is ideal for a self-starter who thrives with autonomy.
Key Responsibilities

| Lead Management | Follow up on marketing-generated leads (inquiries, referrals) and manage them through
the sales pipeline to closure. |
| Outbound Sales | Proactively identify and engage potential clients via cold outreach, networking, and market
research to build a robust pipeline. |
| Market Intelligence | Gather insights on local market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to refine our
go-to-market strategy. |
| Client Engagement | Conduct product demos (virtual or onsite), understand client requirements, and present
tailored Odoo solutions. |
| Deal Closure | Negotiate contracts, handle objections, and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets. |
| Collaboration | Work closely with our presales and technical teams (based in Malaysia/China) to ensure
smooth project handovers. |
What We’re Looking For?
Essential Requirements
- Proven sales experience, ideally in IT services, software, or ERP solutions (Odoo experience is a strong plus).
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (to communicate with our China-based team and local Malaysian clients).
- Self-motivated with strong discipline and time management skills (remote work requires autonomy).
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel occasionally to client sites.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving “0 to 1” breakthroughs in a new market.
- Basic understanding of business processes (e.g., sales, inventory, manufacturing) is an advantage.
Preferred (But Not Mandatory)
- Experience with ERP sales (Odoo, SAP, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Existing network in Malaysia’s SME or manufacturing sectors.
- Open to freelance/part-time arrangements with clear KPIs.
